Description
Gretsch’s famous 4160 metal snare!
It is believed to be from around 1980’s before it was once discontinued.
The parts are also made in the USA.
The bright, gorgeous, and fat sound of chrome over brass is complemented by Gretsch’s unique heavy hoop.
The character tightened by Gretsch’s unique heavy hoop makes this Gretsch’s standard snare loved by various genres without being restricted to jazz.
The attack is firm, but the sound is rounded and very soft and gentle.
There are some minor scratches and pits on the parts.
However, there are no particular problems in use, and the sound is good.
It is still in good condition and can be used for many years to come.
