Description
This is a 1980’s Fender Japan BOXER series Stratocaster with changed pickups.
Rear pickup has been replaced with DiMarzio X2N. The original parts are not included.
There is a stamp “656” in the neck pocket, but there is no corresponding model in the catalog at that time. The tremolo unit is SYSTEM III, and the nut is locked by a lever, so the original model may be “ST-756”.
Tone control knob is missing. It will be delivered as-is.
The pickups are SSH arrangement, but the body counterbore is HSH arrangement. This is probably the original specification as there is a similar picture in the catalog of the time.
The frets have been fret worn.
There are scratches and dents on the head and back of the neck.
There are many scratches and dents on the body, pickguard shows some playing scratches, and metal parts show rust, tarnish, and pitting.
The overall condition is good, although there is a strong sense of use.
The case that comes with the guitar has a sticker on it, and the lid does not fit well, making it difficult to fasten the metal clasps.
